I would just like to thank you once again for everything, our trip went very smoothly in my opinion.
Transfer’s to/from airport were on time, Dom Pedro Marina was a fabulous Hotel with very friendly and helpful staff.
Both courses at Vale do Lobo were in superb condition as one would expect but for me the Ocean course remains my favourite and the greens were the best of the 3 this time. The Old Course was a ‘proper’ golf course for me and a wonderful experience to play.
Transfers to/from Vale do Lobo were on time, however we made one observation to the staff at reception. On both occasions out tee of time was 10:32 and indeed first day at the Royal we were asked if we would like to go early. However the pick time on both occasions was 5:30pm and we felt this was too long given we were finished by 3pm both days and even though we asked the driver and reception on both days if we could be picked up a little earlier, they were unable to change the time. I hope you understand this is no reflection on Direct Golf Holidays but on VdL themselves as they facilitate all transfers to/from the course, we made our views known in a polite and constructive way and they indicated a willingness to look at this going forward.
The transfers to/from the Old Course were superb, a bus appeared at the hotel 10 minutes after being called by the Hotel reception staff and then 15 minutes form the call at the course and this was much better as we were able to get back round the pool and relax.
All in all Diane another great trip which can only succeed with your help. I have decided to hand over the organising baton to someone else going forward but I would have no hesitation in recommending Direct Golf Holidays to anyone and would once again like to sincerely thank you for all your help in 2011, 2013 and 2015.
