The recent addition to Andalucia golf Nuevo Portil Golf Course was designed by Alfonso Viador features wide fairways, gentle greens and several doglegs. The slopes on the course are gentle, making it an easy walking course.
The opening hole, a tight par 5 ensures you concentrate on keeping your ball straight and if you manage that you still have to carry water to get onto the green. The course demands careful thought and shot selection along its narrow fairways. There is a splendid view of the Huelva coastline, with its enormous beaches, dunes, the sea and a wood full of pines and ancient juniper trees.
Situated 18km from Huelva and 90 km from Seville, the club is surrounded by 11,000 hectares of municipal pine forest and overlooks the Natural Park of Marismas del Piedras and Flecha de El Rompido.
