La Manga Club Resort offers three excellent golf courses each with their own characteristics and challenges to suit all styles of player and levels of handicap.
The Championship South Course an 18-Hole Par-73 designed by Robert D Putman and Arnold Palmer has been host to many major professional tournaments including both the ladies and men’s Spanish Opens, PGA Championships and qualifying schools for both the men’s and ladies’ European Tours.
It is also a firm favourite for many companies throughout the world looking for somewhere to host their corporate events.
The North Course an 18-Hole Par-71 also designed by Robert D Putman although slightly shorter than the South Course with tighter fairways and larger greens offers a different but no less challenging round of golf as it undulates between palm trees, lakes and “Barrancas” The natural storm gullies that feature on all three courses and add that extra dimension to the game.
The West Course an 18-Hole Par-72 designed by Dave Thomas is a golfer’s favourite because of its unique setting and outstanding views.
The breath-taking views, narrow fairways, frequent blind spots and storm gullies that snake through this course combined with fast greens make it particularly exciting to play and the wind is always ready to play a part in making sure that you feel every facet of your game has been tested to the full.
