La Estancia

La Estancia Golf Course (Formerly Melia Sancti Petri) is located just 2.7 kilometres away from La Barrosa Beach and the Melia Sancti Petri Hotel in Chiclana, Cadiz. This was the first work of Dutch architect Alan Rijks and his integration of the links course within the protected natural parkland makes it one of the more beautiful and entertaining golf courses in the Costa de la Luz region. The dominant winds from the East and West will encourage you to use different strategies for each hole and provide a different game every day. The course is of medium difficulty with various obstacles and water hazards including three lakes (that are home to more than 25 species of birds,) two streams and various hills and bunkers. All in all La Estancia Golf Course can be demanding and complex but is always enjoyable to play.
