MONTGOMERIE GOLF COURSE

The Montgomerie Golf Course at Carton House offers an inland links experience.  An 18-hole par 72 course designed by Colin Montgomerie himself, gives even the seasoned golfer a test of skill, with cavernous bunkers ensuring this.  The vast fairways and impressive greens have hosted many tournaments starting in 2004 with the Irish Amateur Open and being awarded the ‘Best New Design of the Year 2004’ and ‘Best Course’ in 2006.

O’MEARA GOLF COURSE

This course was designed by US Masters Champion, Mark O’Meara.  A parklands par 73 18-hole course, the O’Meara offers a breath-taking backdrop of the Palladian Manor House with lake and boat house.  Although designed to give golfers a challenge, this course also brings with it the beauty of the surrounding estate and countryside.
