The Alferini Golf Course, situated in a lush valley of the Benahavis Mountains is the only par-73 golf course on the Costa del Sol. Formerly known as Gran Flamingos and situated next to its two sister courses “Los Flamingos” and “Tramores” the Alferini Golf Course with a long layout of 6,641 metres is a true challenge for any golfer. Some of the fairways require pinpoint accuracy, although the greens are large and generous it nevertheless offers a good challenge to the average club player. Water comes into play on several holes from the four lakes and there is a minimum of five levels on each tee enabling Alferini golf course to be adapted to different playing levels and degrees of difficulty. There are not many golf courses on the Costa del Sol where you can leave the villas and apartments behind and head into the hills, but this is one of them! – And it is well worth playing!
