The first 9 holes of the Mar Menor Golf Resort were opened in 2005, marking the first stage of the marvellous Nicklaus Golf Trail at Polaris World, now expanding to an 18 hole championship course to be enjoyed by players of all levels, perfect for professionals and amateurs. Each hole requires attention and concentration, the course demands a wide range of shots to deal with each obstacle successfully. Lakes play a key part on this course, and this kind of strategic feature requires great skill from the player. Its spectacular design demands a diverse range of shots making its round an ideal place to hold tournaments. Palm tress, native grasses and flowering shrubs add to the beauty of this lush Mediterranean landscape.
