The Montado Golf Club is situated near the magnificent Castle of Palmela, 35 mins from Lisbon. In creating this golf complex, designer Duarte Sottomayor’s aim was to make a course where top championships could be played and would also give maximum enjoyment to club players of all abilities. Technically exciting and with flexible playing options for many holes, there is a stimulating mixture of rolling terrain combined with magnificent woodland. More advanced players will find the course offering them tremendous challenge for heroic play - but be warned! The penalties will be high if the gambles do not succeed. Conservative players taking a softer option may also find that their second shots provide more challenge than they would has anticipated....
