The Quinta da Marinha hotel, previously a four-star property operating under the name Hotel Quinta da Marinha & Villas Golf Resort, has undergone an extensive renovation, costing over €5millon (approx. £3.3 million), to emerge as a luxurious five star resort. The main changes have involved the redecoration of all 200 balconied guest bedrooms and public areas, where carpets, lighting, curtains and wall coverage have all been replaced. All the rooms have been equipped with modern facilities, including WIFI internet, air conditioning and digital TV.
The new wooden terrace area provides an excellent environment for enjoying views over the lakes and 18-hole golf course.The Quinta da Marinha Golf course was designed by Robert Trent Jones and is set in a private estate of 110 hectares, wooded with pine trees.
