El Porton is located high up the Calahonda area of the Costa del Sol, with fabulous views of the Mediterranean. The resort consists of 1, 2 and 3 bedroom confortable apartments overlooking the central swimming pool. Guests receive a fully prepared apartment with freshly laundered towels, soap, toilet rolls, bin liners etc. Every apartment boasts a washing machine, microwave, hairdryer and ironing board with iron. El Porton has its own swimming pool and also has full access to all the facilities of Club Marbella where check in is to be made.
Due to the position of this resort being on a hillside, a car is a must, although all amenities, such as bars, restaurants, shops and beach, are only a short drive away. Mijas Costa also boasts some of the best golf complexes in the Costa del Sol such as La Cala Golf’s three 18 hole courses, America, Asia and Europa. Also a short drive to the beautifully challenging courses of Monte mayor and Los Flamingos (Flamingo Rosa and Gran Flamingo).
