A longer and more champion style course than the Quinta da Ria, also designed by William Roquemore Jr. Quinta de Cima Golf is a spectacular 18 hole golf course. There are views of the sea and mountains from anywhere along the course. Many of the holes are dog-legs. Greens are protected by bunkers and lakes, particularly the last three finishing holes. Winding itself across rolling parkland, the central feature of Quinta da Cima Golf is a river which passes right across the course setting up several strategic balancing lakes as it goes. The water course comes into play on many holes and is skilfully blended with an enormous number of native olive trees (many huge and centuries old), carob & almond trees. The architect has also used the higher elevations for tees and greens resulting in a visually stunning course to play. Quinta da Cima Golf is technically more demanding than it’s sister course, but is very enjoyable.
