This course winds through gently undulating Algarvean Landscape and boasts some spectacular view's of the Mountains to the north and of the Atlantic Ocean to the south. Whilst this course is relatively short, it does have some hidden surprise's in store if you find the wrong part of the fairway. The first hole is a relatively short par 4 a good drive to the left side of the fairway leaves a short iron the a generous green. Hole 5, a testing par 5 with an up hill tee shot and a tree lined fairway, an accurate tee shot is needed. Your second shot is set against a mounting backdrop a good fairway wood leaves you with a pitch to the green, which is protected by bunkers left and right. The last of the first nine is a short par 4, the elevated tee hides some of the vast waste area on the left. A classic 13th, with a Risk and Reward element to the drive, a stream crossing the fairway is in full view of the player any drive must carry 200 meters to clear it.
