Vila Monte Resort was constructed in 1993 and has been recently renovated to a high standard. The views it offers over the Atlantic are breathtaking. It is an excellent place for both the sports minded, or lovers of good food. Vila Monte Resort, for example, includes its own golf academy, swimming pools, tennis court, sun terraces, health spa, beauty parlour and a health centre all on site. A short drive allows you to partake in many other activities such as boating, diving and fishing.
Vila Monte is, of course, located in prime golfing country with some of the finest clubs in Europe, such as, Quinta da Ria, Quinta da Cima, Benamor Golf and Castro Marim Golf & Country Club. There are fine beaches close by, so that you can dip into the ocean, go boating, fishing or diving. The Vila Monte is also close to Tavira, probably the most beautiful cities in the Algarve with many historic monuments and well worth a visit !
